Oh how they grow!!!

So the adventures have just begun with the littles.  Before they were two months old they had already gone on two mountain bike rides and a trail 5k.  The 5k was the first running I have done since the Gobbler in November. My good friend Paige convinced me to do this run with her in Greenville.  I really took for granted the running shape I was in before I had the twins.  It's crazy how hard running 3 miles and pushing two babies was.  I made it in 44 minutes.

Me and Noah, Michelle and Amelia and Paige

The mountain biking adventures has been solely on the south boundary road in Bent Creek.  Not too exciting but we're out and moving and that's what counts when you have two babes.  Tim has been towing them as it's a feat just for me to get up the hills on my own.  We hope to try other places on our bikes and explore more with them.

We've also got the babies into the brewery scene at quite the young age. They have two under their belt with more in the future.

One Month Old

I'm not sure where the last month has gone, between having family in town, adjusting to life with two new babes in the house or just the lack of sleep.  The time has flown and the babes are growing so much.  Each day more of their personality comes out and we're beginning to see how different they are as people.  We've been making the rounds around town and the babes have already been to downtown Asheville three times.

This past weekend they got to celebrate their first fourth of July and dressed the part by wearing a stars and stripes outfit.

We've been blessed to have Tim's sister here for the last two weeks to help out with A and N. She has been great changing dirty diapers and holding screaming little ones.  She is going to be a great Aunt to both of them.

Today marks the twins one month Birthday!  Both Tim and I are so in love with these little ones, it is unbelievable that we now have two kiddos! I wouldn't trade it for the world!

T-minus 2 weeks

35 Weeks!!!
Two weeks til these babes arrive!!

Holy moly, I never thought I would get to say that I'm 35 weeks pregnant with twins!!  Boy have these last few weeks flown by.  I stopped working at 32 weeks out of the sheer fact I was having such a hard time managing my responsibilities at home.  I still coached soccer for two hours after work and that took every bit of my leftover energy.  Not working has given me the ability to truly take care of myself and these babies that are very needy of all my energy.
We had an ultrasound last week at 34 weeks and Baby Girl was weighing in at 4 lbs. 4 oz, Baby Boy was weighing in at 4 lbs. 14 oz.  Needless to say I'm in trouble because it looks as if he's taking after Tim already in the eating department.  The ultrasound also revealed that both babies are breech and aren't looking to change positions anytime soon.  So under the knife I will go to have both of these little darlings.  If I don't go into labor before June 7th, they will be born on June 7th.  I'm praying for them to go that long so they are big and strong.  Even if I can only sit in a lounge chair these last few weeks I will manage as long as they are healthy.

Twin Baby Bump

I wanted to chronicle this pregnancy with pictures of my growing belly.  I've been taking pictures but I haven't posted anything yet.  So I'm going to put them all on here in chrono order and y'all can see how far I've come.  I don't know how much bigger I can get, I feel like I've run out of growing room.

15 weeks, looks like I had too much dessert!

18 weeks, still not much of a bump

19 weeks-I thought I was big in this picture!
